Last night as we prepared for bed, we realized we couldn’t
find Coco Puff anywhere. We called and called, but nothing—no Coco! We searched the house, checked outside, and as the minutes ticked by and we became a
little panicky, we even starting checking the closets. Finally, we noticed the
tiniest little movement under the bed covers. Coco, ordinarily the whirling
Tasmania Devil of our dachshund pack, had jumped up on the bed and nestled deep
under a stack of pillows. It was as if she was saying, “Come on! Stop being so
frantic and get some rest already!”
